My husband Randy and I have had the honor of providing a forever home to nine dogs and five cats in the last 16 years. Some of them had special needs that were challenging including seperation anxiety, aggression and senior care. All are loved immensely and no challenge has been too great to overcome. We always consider all of our pets needs when bringing a new rescue home. Our dogs and cats all coexist nicely. They are all so wonderful and have adapted well to each other. Realizing we had such an excellent environment for dogs, we left our conventional jobs in 2022 to start our business. I have been a Registered Nurse for 30 years and needed a break and this was the perfect option for us. Our home is on 8 acres of land 1/4 mile off the main road, with a fenced in area right off the house, and a walk out basement with a dog door. The fenced in area is covered with pea stone, it makes poop cleanup easier and keeps less dirt from tracking into the house. We have waterproof, pet friendly flooring which is a huge help in keeping the house clean, not an easy task. All are allowed on the furniture and sleep in our bedroom at night. We do have various gates we use to seperate dogs as needed due to temperment. Dogs are only crated at the parents request.
